Here is the list of things that you should bring to the program:

  • 2-3 pairs of nylon track pants.  Make sure that these are not cotton .
  • 2 pairs of nylon shorts, we use these for swimming as well. Girls, bring a bathing suit or something to swim in.
  • 3 tshirts. Synthetic/Polyester is best.
  • 2 long sleeve shirts.  Synthetic/Polyester is best.
  • 10 pairs of underwear. Girls, bring ‘brief’ style underwear and not thongs.
  • 10 pairs of warm, wool socks.
  • 1 pair of rubber boots if you have them.
  • 1 pair of old running shoes that can get dirty and wet.
  • 1 ball cap.
  • toothbrush and toothpaste.
  • Brush or comb.

We provide all of the camping gear that you are going to need to stay comfortable.

If there is anything that you don’t have that is on this list, let the Alaska Crossings Intake Coordinator know and they can get it for you.

Don’t bring extra stuff. If it is not on the list, you don’t need it.
