Program Results
Progress toward treatment goals varies from participant to participant. A key factor to
success is the effort a participant puts towards embracing the skills taught during the
program.
Our expectations for our graduates include:
- Be a positive, active member of their family
- Comply with family rules regarding such things as curfew and friends
- Attend school regularly and work at their level of ability
- Understand the effects substance use has on their lives and the lives of others, and how
to manage high-risk behavior
- Accept responsibility for their own behavior and work to achieve their life goals
- Recognize personal strengths and challenges
- Seek out a positive mentor in their community
- Follow through with program recommendations
We utilize the Youth Outcome Questionnaire (YOQ) to evaluate the success of treatment. This
data is used to track the effectiveness of treatment at intervals of three months, six months
and one-year post treatment. All results are confidential, and participants and families are
welcome to review the survey prior to participation. Through this data analysis we are able
to hone our program effectiveness in achieving long-term results.
To date the program has shown that it is able to produce positive changes in participants
that have been sustainable once they return home. If you would like to discuss the research
that has been completed, please feel free to contact our
Clinical Department for further information.
